Welcome our new Head of Developer Relations, Frédéric Harper

Hi API lovers, my name is Frédéric Harper, and I’m a new Mashaper. Starting in 2015, I’ll join the fantastic Mashape team as the Head of Developer Relations. A bit of background I’ve been in the tech industry for more than a decade, mostly working as a mobile, and web developer in startups. Pragmatic, with a high preference on anything Open, I’ve build softwares using many technologies. More recently, my weapons of choice were HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Unirest library for .NET platforms has been unified

We’re happy to announce that the Unirest library for .NET and RT (“windows 8”) has been merged!  This was possible thanks to Lionel Ringenbach’s contribution Lionel is a C#/XAML developer based in Switzerland.  He enjoys developing for Microsoft platforms (mobile, tablets, desktop).  He loved to code because “it is the most creative tool that has been given to me – you think, create, and make everyday a better day!” We’ve asked him to write the post below.  Enjoy! BREAKING: Microsoft agrees to deliver all their APIs via Mashape

Today Microsoft and Mashape is announcing a partnership where all APIs by Microsoft, from Windows to Bing, will be delivered via Mashape. Starting tomorrow we’ll have 56 more APIs, thanks to MSFT. Also, they will monetize all their API calls by utilizing our simple billing system. It’s amazing to have us as an additional distribution channel. Here at Mashape, we’re still in shock.
