During our last post, we discussed a few use cases for leveraging the technology of the Slice API to its full potential. In this installment, we will take you through how integration with our API has enabled developers to create their own unique user experiences.
The great thing about the Slice API is that our technology empowers developers with endless opportunities to create experiences that help users with all aspects of the post-purchase experience. We’ve worked with startups like Gone and Trov that help customers manage their purchases, with help from our item level data. Our real-time shipment tracking also powers several apps including IFTTT. Our API even grants access to email receipts which helps companies like SubscriptMe help customers track their online subscriptions.
How SubscriptMe uses Slice’s API
SubscriptMe uses the Slice API to help users keep track of their annual subscriptions and transaction history. “At SubscriptMe, we were looking for a cost-effective API that could help our users search an often overlooked place when it comes to financial data: their email inboxes,” said Scott Judson, co-founder, SubscriptMe. By integrating with the Slice API, SubscriptMe is able to access a trove of all email receipts in their users’ inboxes and then presents the present user with a service, as a possible subscription.
Build a Better App!
Our goal is to help developers who are excited about our technology, and give them the power to create unique experiences with item-level purchase data.
