The latest update of Kong (0.9.5) ships with improvements and bugfixes:

    Dropping support for OpenResty 1.9.15.1 in favor of 1.11.2.1 Fixed an error (introduced in 0.9.4) in the auto-clustering event
To update to the latest version, simply follow the installation instructions.

Upgrading from < 0.9.x
